faming with the flowers is really clever! Same as the others, your journaling is so real and sincere, and that's all what OUAS is about - sharing those precious thoughts and memories and recording them down. Congrats on a proud-mom moment, and thanks for playing along with us at OUAS this month!
That framing with the flowers is a FABULOUS idea! Looove it....you look so proud...as you should be - your journaling is wonderful...thanks, as always, for joining in with us at OUAS!!!!
Tjet I love this proud heartfelt layout. Such a lovely pic of your boy :) looking so proud and so he should. Your words to him made me teary eyed too. I love the frame of flowers. A lovely layout. Thanks so much for playing along with us at OUAS this month.
What a gorgeous page and your journaling is so heartfelt; it brings tears to my eyes. Love how you've framed the photo with the flowers!! I’m so glad you have joined us for the June Once Upon A…Sketch Challenge and for sharing your layout on our Facebook page! ~ Blessings
This is my entry for the June OUAS challenge. Their theme this month is The best things in life aren't things.

Journaling on back of page.
“You did it! You did it! You did it!” You earned your diploma. Hooray! Now you have a thing, a piece of paper, a new title. You are a college graduate. More than that you have discovered more things about who you are and who GOD wants you to be. Beyond learning about who you are, you have gained new skills. You have learned things that will help you travel life's rocky roads. It's true, the best things in life aren't things, but the family and friends who love and support you, who love and cheer for you, who love and care for you. Some of the best things are the sense of achievement you get for a job well done. The sense of peace knowing you've done your best, whether others recognize it or not. The knowing that when you meet GOD face to face that HE will say to you, “Well done, thou good and faithful servant.” Continue to strive for the best things in life. You will be happy and full of peace if you remember that the best things in life aren't things. By the way, yes, the diploma is just a thing, but it is a thing not everyone earns. Many go off to college only to discover that they can't make it. Life is hard and they want to party. Life is hard and they have to work to survive. Maybe they discover that college really has nothing useful to offer them. Only a select few struggle through the hard times and earn that diploma. You worked at jobs, sometimes fulltime, sometimes parttime, always school. Home was a place where you recharged as much as you could to go again the next day. Again I say, “You did it! You did it! You did it! Hooray!” I also say, “Well, done thou good and faithful son! I love you!” Mom
