This is for the February Tag Swap. Using frayed burlap distressed ink,I stamped a background phrase from one of my Tim Holtz stamp sets. I then stained the tag with spun sugar distress stain and then blended it with fired brick, frayed burlap, and walnut distressed inks. I used stamps from Lawn Fawn's “You've Got Mail” and Technique Tuesday's “Be Mine”. I stamped the mailbox and colored it using copics. I stamped the hearts and postage stamps onto pink paper. I used pop dots to adhere a few of the stamped images. I stamped the sentiment onto the ticket stub and then distressed it with walnut distressed ink and attached it to the ribbon using a pop dot. I covered everything on the tag with distress crackle paint rock candy except for the ticket stub and ribbon.
