I thought it was about time I started documenting all the fun and interesting things that happen in my classroom. Sorry for the pink masks (I always hate the way that looks when people do that), but I didn't have permission to use my students' photo on the internet and want to protect them from the crazies. The journaling on the back reads: When I went to school that day, it was a seemingly ordinary school day, only it turned out to be anything but. It happened to be the day of Prince William and Kate Middleton's royal wedding, and a couple of my girls decided they needed a celebration fit for royalty, so they set out to make proper crowns from construction paper. Like all good ideas, this one spread like wildfire up and down our hall, and by lunch time, all the fifth grade girls were sporting their regal headwear! {April 29, 2011}I made this for Color Combos Galore [colorcombosgalore.ning.com]. For those who don't know, I scrap 8 x 8. I used TONS of really old stuff on this page, including the old French Twist rub-ons by Rhonna Farrer, which were perfect for this color scheme.Materials: Cardstock: Bazzill; Patterned Paper: Bella Blvd, Creative Imaginations; Chipboard Letters: Cosmo Cricket; Rub-ons: Autumn Leaves, Creative Imaginations; Chipboard Accents: Sassafras Lass, Heidi Swapp; 3D stickers: American Crafts, K&Co; Bling Crowns: Heidi swapp; Brads: My Mind's Eye, Prima, Creative Imaginations; Label: October Afternoon; Pearls: Kaiser Craft; Word Stickers; K&Co; Stamp: Glitz Design; Ink: Tim Holtz; Paint: Making Memories; Other: Pop Dots, silk flowers.
