Partially inspired by a sketch from Hitchhiker's Guide to Scrapbooking, I wanted this page to have flow and not feel boxy.I off-set a large doily and layered a bold, floral print in the center, then chain stitched along the seam - really happy with how this turned out. I kept the journaling simple and challenged myself to use this lovely flower (not my normal style), which I painted gold streaks into with Stickles. The thin pen line along the edge helps to ground the layout.
