I lived in Bolivia three times as kid, for a total of about 2 years. Unfortunately, my parents took no photos. I've been wanting to scrap memories from this part of my life for some time, but just never started because of the lack of photos. I decided to use pictures from the Internet to fill in this gap of my life. Journaling reads:

They were called limas, which means limes, in Spanish, but they weren't really limes like I know them. They had a kind of bland, sweet flavor–not at all sour like our limes. But the smell of them was heavenly, and it wafted in through the open windows in the morning–so delightful to wake up to. We were staying with Mom's friends' cousin when we first got to Bolivia, and she had these lima trees in her courtyard, and what I most remember from our stay there was the fragrance of those mysterious fruits.

Materials: Rouge de Garance patterned paper.
