Or at least close to a first. You had already done your home-reading earlier in the day, and happened to be reading just for fun, spread out on the living room floor, when your brother came along. He was doing something on his own, and overheard you reading aloud. He stopped playing, moved next to you, quietly lay down and started listening. And you didn’t object! So then you read the whole story to him, uninterrupted. This was one of those warm-and-fuzzy moments we get as parents - an amazing milestone for you (reading for fun) and one that your brother also benefits from!
