i created thank you cards this year to give for Christmas gifts from friends, family and staff using the Christmas cards we received this year. (the first pic shows the stack of cards i used) as much as i would love to keep all of the cards, every year, i am unable to and really have a hard time tossing them in the trash. i used the October Afternoon Silent Night line with all the cards that have patterned papers. On the larger card, with the oh so cute images, I left the images as-is and adhered a thank you (typewritten font) to the corners, either stitched or stapled and added a glittered heart, glittered pom poms and some sequins to them depending on the image. for the smaller images, i cut them down to size or cut out the smaller image and created a card using the image as my focal embellishment and patterned papers from OA Silent Night. i re-read, re-enjoyed and re-loved all the cards and it was so much fun to take time to enjoy all of them again. each card took me no more than 3 minutes once i had my sheet of thank you strips typed and cut and hearts punched, quick and easy and the recipients have loved them so far.
