Journaling reads:The Rope Loft in Chester holds a special place in our Nova Scotia memories. The building is very historic, dating from 1813 and sits right on the harbor in Chester which is full of great little artisan shops and galleries. Back in 1983, we visited Nova Scotia for a wedding, did some exploring and had a fabulous lunch here on the sunny deck. When we returned to Nova Scotia in 2000 with our girls, we retraced some of our footsteps and again had lunch here on the deck. This summer, we were Staying just a few miles away in Lunenberg and, of course, had to make a stop for lunch before we headed back home to BC.
