I tried the technique and I really like it. Of course, as a first attempt, done at a rush I'm not exactly thrilled with this finished product, but I intend to experiment with it some more after SOF ends. The coffee filter is the magenta background layer that has been stamped and embossed with a large text filled background stamp. I attached this filter piece to a shimmery piece of pale blue card stock, and I sanded off one corner of the filter to let the silver blue colour show.I also stamped a feather in hematite on this background but due to rushing I didn't let the filter dry completely before stamping and I think this shows in the lack of clarity in this stamp.I stamped the bird in the tree on a torn piece of pale purple CS and heat embossed then used distress ink to introduce some darker tones and glued the piece onto the ATC.The key on the bottom was stamped with versa mark and dusted with perfect pearls antique silver.Because I used a lot of metallic and glossy materials, this card changes a lot depending how the light hits it and is kind of hard to photograph.
