This project was inspired by two challenges in SOF 12.The first was the Past and Present Challenge and the second was the Craftfoam challenge. This bookmark used the large pumpkin, and the two ghost stamps that I used in my ‘past’ challenge, linked herehttp://www.twopeasinabucket.com/gallery/member/495307-gardencat/1771696-sof11-clutter/ [twopeasinabucket.com]It also made use of craftfoam to make the ghost and bat dangles.The pale gold background,on the front of the bookmark, was made by stamping with Versamark ink, dusting with Pearl EX powder, and spraying with fixative. The back was done the same way but with different colours of Pearl-ex. This is a metallic sheen that in RL is more shimmery and more subtle than it appears in the photo, the strength of the colours depending on how the light hits it.The dangles were made from white and black craft foam, stamped with the image, cut out and then heated up to shrink the craft foam. The black one was also heat embossed with black EP, which gave it a slightly bumpy, glossy effect.the last image is the ‘past’ project from last year.
