This is my first project I am uploading to the gallery. This project came about because I was so excited to receive my very first 2peas order, and then I placed a second order, and my order came on a day that I was very depressed after hearing the news that it would be the last cortisone shot the hand specialist was going to give me before putting me under the knife to repair a torn cartilage in my wrist. Anyway, it was very painful and depressed and the notes on the packing slips are a personal touch, and it really just brightened up my day and put a smile on my face.Journaling reads:I have stalked the 2peas shopping for almost 2 years, drooling over all the goodies that I wanted to get my hands on. I would even ?fill? my cart w/items totaling upwards of $300! (Altogether, not just one item.) But having to watch my/our pennies, I would do this for inspiration/torture! I like being on top of trends?they fit my style perfectly. (Mostly!) Anyway, imagine my delight that w/our income tax this year, I was able to get a die cutter/embossing machine. I love Amy Tangerine?s style and NEEDED to get my hands on her dies. So I messaged her on what she uses and I got a Cuttlebug. And the first die set I bought was hers! So happy!!! Then I watched a Glitter Girl adventure (also on the 2peas website) and fell in love with the Sundrifter mask that she used. Ironically, I had this in my cart for a few days, but after the video aired, there were only 2 left! I splurged and ordered it! It came on Wed. March 19th, on a day I was feeling down from a Cortisone injection in my wrist. I was absolutely GIDDY to spoil myself w/that. And I love the notes the 2peas adds to your packing list. It?s the little touches that make it all worthwhile! The dates I picked to stamp on my project were the two dates my orders arrived. So, I can?t remember ALL the product as some of it has been in my stash, but I will do the best I can.Products Used:12x12 paper is Basic Grey from a local store in a pad called the best of Basic Grey. The mat paper is also from that pack that I just trimmed down. The chipboard letter stickers I believe are Recollections brand from Michael's, but don't quote me on that. The Brown, Green and square arrow came from a 6x6 paper pad by My Mind's Eye called Collectable “Remarkable” I just picked up at Hobby Lobby. (For the record, I am ABSOLUTELY enamored with the 6x6 paper pads lately!) Also, the small, grey, chevron strips were from the top part of the paper pad from this collection as well. The arrow stamp was on a Recollections (Michael?s brand) roller stamp. I just inked the arrow and not the date part of the stamp. The date stamp was a Becky Higgins date stamp. The Love was a scrap of paper from a 6x6 paper pad from MME called Market. The Love die was from my very first Die set EVER purchased, from 2 peas, and that is Amy Tangerine?s new line. I LOVE that die set, and thought I would put that scrap to good use! I backed it with a piece of paper from yet another 6x6 pad by AUTHENTIQUE titled Suave. This pad was also purchased at a local scrapbook store. The letters ?ST? stickers were American Crafts under the Everyday Set 2. I think I picked these up a year ago at Target(?) but don?t quote me on that one either. The ?ND? were rub-on?s from Doodlebug Design called All Mixed Up (from2004?Long before I met my husband and had kids) that I believe came from AC MooreThe ?joy? embellie was from something out of the dollar spot at Target four years ago when I was pregnant with my second child. The packaging long gone on that one, so I have no idea of the company. The ?Truly Smitten? was a saying on a valentine typewriter stamp from the $1.50 spot at Michaels. I just cut out the words and trimmed them down. I felt the saying was more than appropriate for my LO ;)The color ink I used was Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers. (Beautiful color by the way!)The mist I used for some splatter is Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mint Green.Oh, and the smile strip was from a 6x6 Dear Lizzy paper pad. I believe I got that one at Target last year and do not remember the collection it is from. Thanks for taking a look!
