I did this for the “In the Mood to Scrap” challenge to use the impasto technique. I wanted to stay within my style so I really simplified it to just a bit embellishment. I created the layout without attaching it to the white cardstock, cut out my stars, then adhered most of the layout in place before getting ‘messy’. I used a combination of Modelling paste, acrylic, and iridescent medium for my impasto.Title means: Christmas time gnomes.Journalling reads: It is traditional in Denmark to have little trouble-making gnomes visit the homes of children in the run up to Christmas. This year, they parachuted into Kindergarten on December 3rd and visited with one child per night. On December 10th Nisse Sebastian from Dragestuen came home with D. They played and drew together than afternoon. D was quite excited. Sebastian did, however, get into the Duplo and books whilst we weren't looking. What a mess! he following day the nisse from Moyserne came home with M and this gnome got into the tin of pebernødder! M was completely uninterested in him, though. The gnome did come in a cardboard case which M thought was the greatest toy ever. So long until next year little nisser!
