Did this for the CHA Challenge #3 – Use three trends. I used washi, arrowheads, and did a little embellishment cluster at the top edge of the page. On an ironic note, I finally used the last of my papers from 2003 on this layout. Trendy to that last, I tell ya!I kept the page quite simple as I these photos would be easily overwhelmed. Gotta love film prints. ;)Journalling reads: Heading out for our halfday mountain hike, we drove through Highwood Pass, the most elevated road in Canada, sitting at 2206m or 7239 ft. Even better? That rain we'd been geting was snow at this altitude. We naturally had to stop along the side of the road for a proper snowball fight. How often do you get to have a snowball fight in July… even in Canada? Even though the idea of a summer snowball fight is pretty mind-blowing, the really amazing thing was the scenery. Snowcapped mountains were everywhere, and I couldn't stop taking photos of them. I absolutely love mountains and I would love to one day live near a mountain range like the Rockies.
