I combined two different challenges in this layout as well as a personal challenge of using up some older papers). First, Tuesday's ‘In the Mood’ challenge was to embellish a circle. I took a plain piece of paper and covered it in washi tape (the red circle that is mostly hidden), and cut out one of the circles from the patterned paper and embellished it with a button. The second challenge came from Monday's 213 in 2013. I did the ‘textured background’ prompt using some stamps and some Old Paper Distress Ink to give some visual texture, and I used the ‘layer labels’ prompt and created a cluster above my title.Journalling reads: Over the last several months you have developed a fascination with the cooker. You absolutely abhor the dishtowel being hung on the cooker. We are forever finding it tossed on the kitchen floor. You also get wildly excited anytime you see dinner being cooked in the cooker. You'd hug the cooker if it were possible, but since it isn't you make do with pressing your little body against the cooker door and giving it a sloppy toddler kiss. It is so adorably cute and uniquely you. I hope you always show your uniqueness.
