I did this in response to the Memory Keeping Monday prompt to use a stick pin and did a layout about how I chose my vocation and the journalling details aspects of my personality.I found the floral EP paper a bit strong for my layout, so I used some white dye-based ink to tone down the colour. Otherwise, the For the Record ‘Tailored’ Collection was a perfect match. Journalling reads: I stared having doubts about music as a career and I was lost as to what direction to go. Mum said “You can sew. Why don't you go into fashion design?”. The idea stuck and I spent a lot of time and effort creating, designing, sewing, and building a portfolio. Ryerson University was the only degree course and I didn't want to settle for anything else. All my free time was devoted to improving my odds of being accepted into the program, including taking private art lessons.
