LO number 5 of 10 from the Miley Cyrus concert on October 10, 2009 in Milwaukee. My dd suggested a LO per song, but I'm not going that far. lol She's been happy with the way I've divided up the pics so far. :)
This LO covers my photos from Let's Get Crazy and Hoedown Throwdown. The title, Get Up and Dance, is a line from Let's Get Crazy. I printed the lyrics to the chorus of Hoedown Throwdown on vellum and included them on the left building die cut. I wanted the LO to echo the stage set for this section of the show. I cut the buildings to make a skyline using the Jubilee cart on my Cricut, and I arranged the bottom row of photos at different heights to give another layer to the skyline. I rounded the corners and matted the top left pic with neon pink cs to match the video screens in the set. I left the 5x7 alone -- I wanted it to blend into the background, which I splattered with neon pink and neon blue mists. All the photos are outlined with black Sharpie to give them a crisp edge. I cut the song titles and LO title with the Hannah Montana cart. For the song titles, I cut their shadows with neon pink, for the LO title, I just cut another copy in the regular font and off set them to give the partial neon edge. The journaling is in metallic blue pen and says: After this, Miley went off stage for a costume change while a video of will.i.am speaking about her played and the dancers performed to the Black Eyed Peas' Boom Boom Pow.
This is for the July Music Challenge - Artist. I name Miley, will.i.am, and the Black Eyed Peas in the journaling. I have the die cut twist.
