This card is for the “Material Whirl” and “ Black Cat Matte” challenges. The black mats are pretty self-explanatory, and I think go really well with the material.The red check material is cotton and was one of only a couple I had. I didn't do anything fancy to stamp on it, just pegged it to a chopping board, on top of newspaper, and so it has bled a teeny bit, but not too obviously. To jazz it up a bit I used gold glitter glue (and on the sentiment CS, too). My main problem was adhering it. I used masking tape to attach the material to a piece of thick CS and was frustrated that it wouldn't sit neatly, til I realized that it's NOT paper and so doesn't have to look like paper. I had to use craft glue to stick it all to the big black mat. It looks pretty cool! I'd like to work with material again.
