Journaling reads: My little Christmas tradition is on Christmas Eve to wrap the Santa presents. I pick one type of wrapping paper for Emily and one for Danny. This year I guess I did not pay attention to where I was hiding the Santa presents because Danny found the computer. Luckily he did not find anything else. As I was wrapping all the family gifts he said “Mom, can you wrap Santa's presents like you are doing the family gifts”. I had been putting little ornaments and bows on all the gifts this year. So he wanted bows on their presents also. I just laughed to myself, never thinking that they would care about what the outside looked like. Only concerned with ripping off the outside wrapping to get to the gift. I had gotten him an ipod which was the top gift on his list. After he found the computer Danny said “Mom, I'm still getting the ipod right”? I kept telling him, “Danny, you know the computer was very expensive and a gift for both of you. I can't swing both gifts”. So Christmas Eve I wrapped the ipod in three bigger boxes to throw him off. I think he was surprised and so happy that he got the ipod and Emily was thrilled with the computer. Mom is so funny sometimes!
