DS1 all ready to go Trick-or-Treating for the first time in Michigan. I'd like to point out the date, 2002, because he is no longer small. He turned 15 in February, he will be getting his driving permit soon, and he is on his way to being taller than me! (I'm almost 5'7 1/2" and last month he was the exact same height!!!)

Anyhow, enough reminiscing. After not doing any scrapbooking since Nov. 2012, and not even seeing my supplies for over a year of that time, this is my first LO. I did it for the July Scraplift the Person Before You Challenge (because I thought a lift would help me get back into the swing of things) and I lifted Jazzescrapper's "Mother's Day 2011" (

I started cutting the pieces for layering along the left and there was just all this ribbon looking at me so I added it to the layering instead of cardstock/paper. I added some buttons, used one (5x7) photo instead of two (4x6's?), and made a square journaling block.

**I'm *almost* certain all the PP is DCWV from 2008 and that both of the solid's are Bazzill, and are probably just as old as the DCWV. The ribbons probably all came from swaps, and I'm pretty sure the pumpkin and the card I used for journaling did too. The frame on the journaling card is "Making Memories: Metal Frames: Sunsoaked."
