I think this lo is pretty self-explanatory...I used pretty basic techniques. One thing that I did that might not be so obvious, is that the flowers that were printed on the journaling block clashed with my lo, so I searched for a punch that would give me a flower to cover each of the printed one. However, I didn't have anything that would work. I ended up taking my smallest flower punch and punching 3 flowers from some of the scraps of the pps I used. Those punched flowers didn't completely cover the printed flowers, so I took a small circle punch and punched 3 circles and layered the punched flowers on top of the circles. Each of my circles covered a cluster of 3 printed flowers and I was able to make the journaling block work for my lo.
As I was looking through her gallery for a lo to lift (and she has tons of great lo's, so not an easy task to pick just one!), I was caught by the great diagonal qualities of her "just me" lo and I immediately thought of this teeter totter pic. The diagonal line of the lo made me think of a teeter totter. I tried to emphasize that idea by adding the pp strip and extending it into the "frame", which resulted from my not having enough of the blue pp to make the full size background, so I decided to do a smaller background and frame it out by matting it on the floral pp, which was a flimsy paper and old (so not fully 12x12), so I distressed the edges and matted it onto some yellow cs. :)
