This background was made with the summer coat technique. Initially I had difficulties with the technique because I was using embossing folders with lots of space in the design resulting in ink and embossing powder in lots of places it shouldn't be. Finally with an embossing folder with lots of close embossing this one worked. The photo of the plain printed paper I used is partially embossing because I realized I was doing it backwards and that was my only extra piece. For my card I used some smooched distress stains onto craft mat, spritzed and place paper into wet mixture and dried. Both the tickets and the sentiment are heat embossed. The tickets are a set of stamps by Red Lead I had for a very long time but couldn't figure out how to use all 3 on a card. I painted each with distress inks and enameled the bird's eyes. Embellished the bird's eyes with Ranger's enamel. The sentiment is a stamp from a Hampton Art set. Thanks for a fun challenge April!
