I was excited about the stencil challenge because Anna-Karin's label video had me pulling out some IO 12x12 label stencils that I hadn't used in years. Although I didn't use the labels (idea for another card). I did use the edging border on the top and bottom of the black.The bird image was another stencil. I outlined with white Signo pen and filled in with some line techniques that I learned in my drawing class this summer. I have been ‘Spreading my Wings’ to learn new art skills this year. I used a few touches of Viva's Pearl Pearl for dimension.My final stenciling was the background dots. Unfortunately I didn't realize that the alignment of the dots is not perfectly in a straight line when I used this stencil previously.So that lead me to the ABC challenge. While I did feel my line stencil drawing was Art…even more is the accepting that our handmade art is not about perfection but rather learning, challenging ourselves and finding joy in our creative moments. My ABCs are Art, Bird, Color, Dots, Everyday (from tag)and Flower.Thanks for looking!
