This is my 1st stencil print that l completed with distress stains. While I was disappointed with the results at first, I do think this background technique (as well as many others) looks best when fully finished for its intended purpose. I feel this technique would work much better using a stencil with much larger open areas. I have plans for this to be my cover page for a technique journal. So I sprayed the base paper to the size needed for my notebook and add some inky drops. (see discussion thread for more on the journal). From Artistcellar- Mini Stripes stencil by Julie Fei Fan BalzerStamps: Technique Tuesday by Ali Edwards Ordinary Days Set-The challenges of today, Life is good and Dots.
