The title is so cute...I like your explanation on here how she actually learned another word...I think that should at least go on the back of the layout so she will know when she is older.Looks like the perfect 4th of July day to me!
This is for the Four Categories Challenge - Category Four: Freedom. The twist was to incorporate stars and stripes. There are stars on the pp on on the embellies throughout. There are stripes on the flag sticker, and lines on the journaling spot.
Journaling reads: "Great pool party with our neighbors! Nina learned a new word that starts with 'f'."
(Really, she learned a much different word that starts with "f" at this party -- amazing she got to 6 1/2 without learning it prior! -- but "freedom" is the one we want her to remember [Thanks, Eileen!] and it was fitting with this challenge.
I did a collage in Picasa as a 2:3, then printed it as an 8x12 at Costco. I used my Cameo to cut the notebook edges and the chevron accent piece up top. The rest was leftovers from the Bella Blvd "All American" kit from last year, and some random embellies I had lying around.
Does this project or one of it's images contain pornography, profanity, or other illegal or offensive material? If so, please report it and our moderators will come by and clean it up in a flash.
