I made this cork magnet as a sample for my WSW14 Uncorked Challenge.I sliced a piece of wine cork.Sanded the stamping surface.Inked with FiberScraps EZ Walnut Ink Tintz (similar to Ranger Distress stain).Inked Stampscapes Doe with QuickQuotes chalking ink in Java, and pressed the cork to it.I used a Japanese screw punch and a paper piercer to dig out a little cavity for the super strong magnet to sit in. I wanted the cork to sit flush on the frig. I glued the magnet in place. I think you need to be really careful with these magnets around kids. You could cut a strip of magnet tape, but it won't be nearly as strong. Probably strong enough to stick to the frig, but might not hold any paper.TFL!
