This is my entry for Prospurring's Sablona (stencil) challenge.I scraped gesso over a stencil on 140lb watercolor paper and let it dry overnight. Today I sprayed the paper with red and blue ink. The gesso resists the ink more than the watercolor paper and you get a lighter color. Curiously, the mat for the focal piece was sprayed with the same blue ink but I got a different color. The focal piece was stamped on SU white paper. I circle cut a piece a bit bigger and sprayed it for a mat.Stamps: All Night Media - party boy, colored with Sakura gelly roll stardust pens; SU - sentiment, Scrapworks - #3.Ink: Dylusions sprays in London Blue and Postbox Red, Ranger Archival jet black Stencil: Ranger Dylusions for The Crafters Workshop Chequered dot, 9x12Gesso: Claudine Hellmuth Studio gessoThanks for the fun challenge Anne!
