Whew! This card is late :( but finally finished! I used Frenchie's youtube video to make the gift card holder and combined the owls of Frenchie (frenchiestamps) and Mary Fish (stampinpretty), both Stampin Up reps, to make the owl.Stamps : Hero Arts background grid, Purple Onion Designs sentiments on gift card side of tag, Hero Arts stamps from June set on signature side of tag. PSX diploma.Punches : SU owl, bird (branch), and circle punches. Marvy scallop circle trimmed down for wings.I trimmed a Sizzix die tag down to fit the holder. My slot punch wouldn't reach so I hand cut a slot with an exacto for the gift card and added a punched circle over it to cover the less than perfect slot! The diploma in the owl's hand is a little rolled up piece of copy paper. Hand cut black strip for glasses. Trimmed a square to make it more of a diamond shape for mortarboard. Used a square punch on a strip of paper toget cap. Hand fringed small strip of yellow paper for the tassel. There are much better images and instructions on the above mentioned sites! Don't fret if you don't have the owl punch, there are some cute owls out there made with scallop circle punches. TFL!
