I'm so glad I got a 2nd chance to complete the quilling challenge. Anna-Karin's tutorial was really good. I'm pretty sure this is the first time I ever quilled anything. Thanks Anna-Karin and thanks to Daria for the hangover challenge! The fringed flower centers are quilling paper. The outer fringes were cut from scrapbook paper. The tiniest fringes were hand cut with Fiskars fine tip scissors and the thicker fringes were cut with Martha Stewart fringe scissors. I was a lot happier with my flowers after I inked with Spiced Marigold distress ink (got the inking tip from Anna-Karin's sample). Inking brightened up the color and covered all the white edges. I felt it really enhanced them.I don't have a slotted quilling tool so I used the pokey tool from the Making Memories tool set.The flower centers and the jars were covered with JudiKins Diamond Glaze. I used Tombow markers with a Dove blender pen to color the image. PP is Sassafras from a twopeas RAK!Stamps : Great ImpressionsInks : Colorbox dark brown, Distress Spiced MarmaladeTFL!
