LLeighAnn, I loved this challenge. Thank you.

CARD: about 4 1/4“ x 5 3/4”
Bazzill cardstock-card base
Judikins Glossy Cardstock–black mats
Judikins Mattekote Cardstock–focal piece

BACKGROUND:
Stampendous Cling Poinsettia Background
Versafine Onyx Black ink
Ranger Clear Superfine Embossing Powder
Distress Markers (Barn Door, Peeled Paing, Mustard Seed)
Glitter Ritz, white (It has a soft shine; it doesn't sparkle.)

After stamping, embossing, and coloring the image, I trimmed the piece and cut it into pieces.

I put Sookwang double-sided tape onto cardstock, removed the backing, and placed the pieces of stamped background onto the tape beginning in the upper left-hand corner. Then I trimmed the right side and bottom.

I put White Glitter Ritz on the exposed tape and burnished it with my fingers.

At this point, I thought I was done. Then I remembered that I needed to stamp something with acrylic paint for this challenge. Back to the drawing board.

ORNAMENT:
Penny Black Spotted Ornament
Golden Fluid Acrylic Paints (Quinacridone Red, Green Gold, Iridescent Gold Deep)
Mizuhiki (Paper Cord)
Glue Dots

I squirted some paint on the craft mat, and used a paint brush to paint the rubber die. I stamped three ornaments, but they just didn't look good against that background. I almost gave up and made two separate cards–one with the background and one with the ornaments, but I wanted to try to finish the challenge so I ended up using one ornament.

I'm going to make more of those puzzler backgrounds. That's a very cool technique.

Thanks for the challenge.
Daria
