Charmaine Ikach posted the Dryer Sheet Technique on Splitcoaststampers. I thought it was a very cool technique, and it's very easy–perfect for one of our challenges: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/dryer_sheet_technique/ [splitcoaststampers.com]

I've posted more details on the Challenge Blog: http://www.twopeasinabucket.com/userblogpost.asp?id=61883. [twopeasinabucket.com]

The sparkle does not show up in the scans. Use your imagination to picture a subtle sparkle over the focal image, and lots of sparkle on the red mat on the third card.

CARDS 1 & 2:
4 1/4“ x 5 1/2”
Bazzill cardstock
Smooth white cardstock (Maybe Neenah or SU)
Stampin' Up! image from 1998
Versafine Onyx Black Ink
Tombow Markers (993, 025, 195, 171, 992, 947, 977, 856, 370,)
Stampin' Up! Marker (Really Rust)
Mega Nestabilities Curved Rectangles die cut

Xyron machine
Used dryer sheet
Art Accentz Transparent Glitter, clear

I put the colored image face down through the Xyron machine so that it was covered with adhesive. Then I adhered the dryer sheet to the image and cut off the excess. I die cut the image, and then I rubbed the glitter over the dryer sheet, and it stuck to the areas of adhesive that were not covered by the dryer sheet.

CARDS 3 & 4:
4 5/8“ x 5 7/8” and 4 1/4“ x 5 1/2”
Bazzill cardstock
Carnival Vellum (red cardstock)

Focal Image: Sunshine Designs from the Stamp Barn
Twinkling H2Os (chesnut brown, spiced pumpkin, meridian blue, olive vine, sunburst and yellow rose)
Copic Marker (B0000 for the shadows in the window)
ScorTape (Sookwang Tape)–used on the deleted card
Used dryer sheet
Art Accentz Transparent Glitter, clear

Red Mat:
Cornish Heritage Farm Paint Spots Backgrounder
Tsukineko's Essential Glue Pad (for stamping)
Art Accentz Crimson Glitter
Embellishment– Craftworks Cards Candi, “Newsprint”
Best Creation 3D Foam Tape

Originally, the image I used on the third card was a throw-away that didn't get tossed out. I just used it to try out this technique using ScorTape instead of the Xyron machine. It worked fine; however, the image was sub-par so I replaced the image on the third card with a new one. I used the Xyron machine this time; and while I was at it, I made another card. The fourth card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2. I think the proportions are better on that card.
