I'd love to say that I based the idea for my Project Life video this month on this thread on the message board asking about scraps [twopeasinabucket.com] and this thread discussing whether to use just die cuts, just punches, or a combination of both [twopeasinabucket.com]…but I actually had this idea planned and filming at least started before either of those popped up. In any case, I think you'll find today's video a timely discussion of using scraps- especially from old collections- on your layouts.The video does center around using scraps to embellish a Project Life layout, but of course this idea works perfectly well for cards, layouts, or any sort of papercrafting project. And, while I show how I duplicate two different embellishment types from the shop by using scraps, there are so many ways to DIY just about anything out there.Your challenge for this week, should you choose to accept it, is to use scraps on your layout!
