The explosion did not spoil your LO, Katie; it simply added dimension. Super cute pic and embells. Nice work with the dress form and die cut Eiffel Tower.
This looks great! It was very creative to wrap the bodice in that thick cross-stitching thread (floss?). And the crackle-painted wood portions turned out fabulous too. Kudos!
Gorgeous layout, cute photo, and innovative decorating of the dress form. Love the Eiffel Tower and that photo of Mia. As far as the Liquid Pearls accident, distressing is all the rage now, and you can just pretend the "messy bits" were intentional. They look nice anyway. :)
This LO features a picture from Mia's 6 month photo shoot.
I stamped the dress form with ink, wrapped the upper portion with a thick thread used in cross stitching, added a tulle skirt, placed a ribbon at the waist and added a pearl necklace to finish it off. Mrs. Bean let me use her crackle paint to add to the wood part of the dress form. It took awhile to put together but I really love the end result.
As I was adding the liquid pearls to the punched border, my bottle exploded all over the page. Thankfully a baby wipe took most of it off. You can still see some of it on the prima flower and under the photo. Accidents happen lol.
