I've been drooling since yesterday when your FB post led me to see the entire two pages of this stunning masterpiece on your blog. I'm still amazed by the textures of your background and the way that you've designed the flow of the flowers and chippies!!!!
Here's the first pages from my newly created altered book. Lots of measuring and tearing with an exacto knife went into shaving off pages to make room for embellished pages of molding paste, stencil work, stamping, misting, chipboard, and other media too. Here's Josie, my great, great grandmother from The Gilded Age in history. As I created this page, I wondered if she married as a trade, or for love. So many questions came to my mind in creating these pages. I have left room for journal, and created a little charm dangling from some ribbon at the end of the book. If you would like to see more, you're welcome to visit me at http://scrapsofelegance.blogspot.com. Thanks for taking a peek
