Give a Cheer
DD has been in day care for about 2.5 months now and to be honest...she loves it!! I had no idea it would mean so much to her. They have activities all day long and lessons mixed in. Not only does she just love being there with her friends (she knows the names of all 10 kids in her class...she's not even 2!), but I have noticed how much she is learning too. She sings songs and talks to me about her day. She has even started to initate potty training...after 2 weeks of "big girl Panties" in the evenings and weekends (when we are at home), she has only had mabye a handful of accidents. I am not bragging. I honestly think she just has so much confidence from going to that school/daycare.
I have especially noticed a difference in her ability to interact with her cousin. She has always had a special love for her cousin, but now she is becoming interactive. Thank goodness! He has been such an angel patiently waiting for the day when they could play together. I took these pictures a month ago while thye were playing on the bed...in and out of the covers, making silly faces, jumpin' up & down, and hootin' & hollerin'...what could be better? I bought this collection about a week before I took the pictures...I just loved it the moment I saw it. (And I never buy the WHOLE collection of anything!) I was pretty excited when they arrived and I realized they were perfect for these pics...then it took me a whole month to scrap it. Luckily there are lots of scraps and untouched papers and embellies so I will be able to play with this collection again later.
