Did you bring the string through the circle's center? Or did you bring the string across the circle and glues another circle on top of it to trap the string? I apologize but I cannot tell from the photo for myself.

Made faux curtains with strings of circles made of wax and tissue paper. Unfortunately, it doesn't photograph very well with so much light outside :p
