I organize most of my embellishments in bins like these and place them in book cases. I store them by color and type (vintage items have their own bins like these).

Walmart used to have the higher quality bins seen here but the last time I went shopping for them I was disappointed in the quality. Mine have a removable cardboard bottom that's fabric covered with velcro attachments but the new ones have the cardboard sewn into the fabric cover and there aren't wire re-enforcement's for support. I purchased mine a few years ago so was able to remove the cardboard before dunking my bins into the dye bucket filled with water and Walnut Ink Crystals. I wanted my bins to have a vintage vibe but you could use Rit dye too to get more vibrant colors.

If I were to get these wet they would become blotchy because Walnut Ink dye isn't completely permanent; I keep them away from liquids.

The organization and decor in this studio is highlighted in Scrapbook.com's free Get Organized Class.

The studio was also featured in the August 2014 issue of Where Women Create magazine.
