What a wonderful idea Sharon, I've never heard of that before. Going to steal that one. But here's one in return. You can use your corner punches to make doilies. Just cut your circle 1 1/12 larger than you want it to come out (I usually do mine at 8" or 10"), turn your corner punch upside down so you can see into the back side to make your punches as you round your circle. You will be able to see the edge of your first punch, so just keep the edges next to one another as you move around and it comes out darned near perfect every time. Works beautifully! :)
I can't believe I missed the articles the first time around about using punches to make medallions, it was one of those duh moments! It has also given me a whole new perspective on all my punches, and a reminder to check out more ways to use punches than just for edges!!!
