Much time has passed since my granddaughter passed away. In October 2007, my son-in-law's mother was going to pass away from cancer. We learned that month there was a rare disease our sweet baby girl will have when she is born. It was Meckel Grober Syndrone. This was a difficult time for all families involved. As Christmas was upon us it was quite emotional. Carol, my sil's mother passed away on December 31, 2007. Carrie was due January 11th 2008. Jordyn Kelly Wentworth was born January 11, 2008 and passed away 52 mins. after birth; surrounded by her loving family.
Although Jordyn had only a very short time here on Earth, she touched the hearts of many and will be missed.
She was a gift from God, to be born and survive a short time, but had a gift to give. The heart of Jordyn was donated to the Children's heart association. The gift of life was given to a baby boy in California, that would have passed away. Today the boy is 6, and living a normal healthy beautiful life.
Thank You God for giving us Jordyn, the gift of life.
