I always love hearing about you and your mom creating together. I love creating with my daughter too. Rosa and her little cactus are adorable. I've never heard of this coloring technique your using, but it sure looks beautiful. Love the cards design, your so creative! I wish I had time to comment on all these beautiful cards I'm seeing in your gallery, but I'm afraid I'm limited on time this morning, so let me just say you have an amazing array of beauties here! Your so talented Laura, and it really shows!
Rosa is an adorable little Mexican girl. Pretty sparkle, frame, rick rack, ribbons and scalloped edges. Your paper choice & vibrant colours are perfect for this theme. Love how the red ribbon flower pops off the page.
Good afternoon, everyone! This cute stamped image is by "Your Next Stamp." Her name is "Rosa from Mexico." She comes with the little cactus. I just love her! I coloured her in with watercolour pencils, Museum solvent (Gamsol), and a stump. I drew in the ground she's standing on. I added some glitter to her roses in her hair and her collar, and I added the tiny red rhinestone flower to her collar. The cactus is raised on foam squares for a little dimension. The scallopped die-cut was cut on the Cricut. My mom ("Quick Silver") gave me the ribbon rose, ricrac, and pompom ribbon, and she lent me her inks and Liquid Pearls. Thank you, mom!
THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TAKES A PEEK AND LEAVES A LITTLE COMMENT FOR MY READING PLEASURE.
