This is so cool, Betty! I love, LOVE your 2-page layout and almost feel like I have been traveling with you! The photos are simply amazing and you scrapped them beautifully and with such creativity!
These pages are for my travel album. They were made in the little town of Seligman, AZ on the second day of our trip.
Journaling reads: "After breakfast, we took a little walk around Seligman in the area closest to the restaurant. We were so intrigued by the little “wild west diorama” across the street, complete with a Livery, Dentist, Gun Store, Stage Office and Jail." "You can’t live for long in our hometown, Griffin, Georgia, without learning the story of Doc Holliday. He was born here and later moved around, eventually moving to Tombstone, Arizona where he would join up with the Earp brothers in the famous “Gunfight at the O.K. Corral”. There are reminders of him all around us here – a museum, festivals, memorabilia, etc. Even so, it was funny to go over a thousand miles from home and find this little memorial to him in the small town where we were staying."
I used OA's Sasparilla pps for these pages. The title letters "Wild West" are handcut, inked and doodled. The little girl/guitar are handcut from pp and the other embellies are stickers. The zigzag borders were cut with deco scissors. Thanks so much for looking.
