Heritage page on my fathers side of the family. This is my paternal grandfather & his second & last wife. "Hubert & Helen" on there wedding day in 1955 STL. Even though Dessie is my paternal grandmother, I always knew Helen to as well. We had a tighter bond or connection, she was my favorite!. She was there way before I was born. I would have to say that I felt closest to her. I would spend summer vacations at their home, helping grandpa in the garden and orchards, taking produce to market every weekend, helping grandma with prepping fresh veggies like snapping pounds of green beans on the outside swing for hours, or preparing other produce to can. She taught me how to cook too. I really miss them! I wish my daughter and grandson could have spent time with them like I did.
The jolee's boutique vintage pocket watch is an older pack I had. The crochet fan lace came from grandma. pps are unmarked. TFL!
