For the base of the card, I used an Anna Griffin card kit (the one I list below is not the actual kit I used but I think they are all amazing and great to pull stuff out of), then made the flower stem out of ruler pp (my own stash), the leaf out of newsprint pp (my own stash), and the rosette out of pp (using M.Stewart's scoring tools). The gold scroll is A.Griffin (I would LOVE a thousand of those!). On the inside, I wrote the scripture "Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God's grace in various forms." (I Peter 4:10). I started making Birthday cards for the teachers at my daughter's Christian school when I heard NOTHING was done for them for their birthdays. Teachers are paid very little, and have one of the most important jobs on the planet, so I thought at least they need to have a special card on their day, so they would know they are appreciated. I love the quote on the front because it reminds them they are being used by God to make beautiful butterflies. TFL!
