For Online Card Classes - Holiday Card Workshop 2014. Day 2 - Interactive Cards.
This is my second attempt at a shaker card. I made a big mistake at the end of the first attempt when I used Ranger Dry stickles glitter as my "filler". It was a bad idea...the stickles glitter was too fine and it acted like dust and stuck to the acetate so you couldn't see much of the "scene". This second attempt wasn't completely successful either. I should not have foam mounted the bunnies because the sequins keep getting caught up on them. It would have been better to make the whole inside scene flat mounted so the sequins could move around freely. Oh well...it will have to do. I also used white fun foam for the whole raised panel instead of double sided foam tape. I just got a big pile of it so I thought I'd try it. It worked fine. I used two 4" x 5-1/4" pieces and adhered them together after I die cut the "window" because I wasn't sure the die would cut through both pieces. Other supplies: Simon Says Stamp Home for The Holidays Stamp Set, Stampendous Embossing Powder (Red Tinsel), Pretty Pink Posh sequins, 4mm clear cupped, Wplus9 Landscape Border dies, Neenah Dessert Storm cardstock
