Give a Cheer
Do you know what a SAHM is? A stay at home mom. My DD has always loved playing with her baby dolls and when she found this vacuum toy at a friends house she was in heaven. I giggled and snapped a few shots... She looks like a little SAHM.
To be a SAHM...I wonder.....
As a woman with a degree who works full time in the finance industry I had to make a choice. Do I stay home and raise my daughter myself or do I allow a daycare to influence my daughter? In this day and age, more women then men complete their bachelors degree and more women than men have higher levels of education. And yet more women stay home with their kids. I am not advocating that all women with high levels of education must work or would not be using their knowledge raising children. In fact I believe that raising a kid (day in and day, out all day long, every day of the week) is the hardest job in the world. Trust me there have been pleanty of Monday mornings when I have looked forward to the solitude of an all adult enviornment. And on that note there are a ton of Monday afternoons, when I am racing to my car after 8 hours away from my DD. I don't know if you get to win either way. Raising a kid is hard no matter what choice you make.
