I love the photo of her in the doll house! I've noticed that pattern with my cats too. They're social and playful as kittens, then independent in the middle years and finally when they reach old age they love to cuddle with you again! Great layout Joan!
Rosie was just the cutest little kitten, so playful and funny. As she got older, she became aloof, and would often leave the room if I entered. The only way I could pet her is if I picked her up and I was usually rewarded with a nice juicy hiss. She was only slightly nicer to the kids. Now that she is a senior citizen, she is always curled up next to someone, purring away.
Throughout this project, I used a lot of sketches. Scrapbook Generations has several books of 2 page sketches and they are so easy to use. What I like best about them is that you can get a lot of pictures on each page, but it still looks clean.
The journaling you see is only 1/3 of what I wrote, as I used a 4x4 Close to My Heart flip flap to tell the rest of the story. I LOVE flip flaps and used them often during this project. The paper used is vintage CTMH, some special dot package. I cut the title using the Hello Kitty font cricut cartridge. Thanks for looking.
