V, this is lovely. You are doing a terrific job with this album. I love you are keeping the pages vintage just like the photos. I'm lifting the idea of the ripped paper with the cardstock behind it. It is so cool. From the photo, they look like such kind people.

Beautiful page... My own paternal grandmother married my grandfather when she was 16 and he 19 back in Aug 1937. My paternal great-grandmother married my great-grandfather when she was 13 and he 22 years old in 1904. Funny thing is now the present family members when they hear about how old our ancestors were. When they married had one cousin go oh my god that is too young. One of the older family members had to remain them it was a different time and place. If they didn't get married when they did. Probably some of us wouldn't be here.
