These are photos from the 2009 All Saints' Day Pageant at my dd's school. She was in 7th grade, and was St. Fina. I wanted to try a pocket page style LO, but I don't see the point of spending money on pocket page protectors that may or may not fit the directions of photos I have, when I can do my own in any combo on a 12x12 mounting sheet and use the same 12x12 protectors that will fit anything. I started with a March '14 PageMap for this one. This was fun, and I'll probably use this style again for LO's that need to include several different things.

For all the ASD pages I do (this is my last one!!), I include my dd's speech as the journaling and an image of the saint. For this year, she didn't write out a speech per se - just used a note card - and I either didn't video tape it or it got taped over - the horror! SO I don't know exactly what she said, but I decided to just type out her notes to use on the page. I printed them on vellum in Black Chancery. I'll keep the original note card in dd's handwriting in the page protector behind the LO. (Another reason why pocket protectors don't make sense for me.) I printed an image of a painting of St. Fina on white cs and used it on the 3x4 piece on the right. I also printed an image of a painting of Fina's vision of St. Gregory fortelling her death on cs and punched it out with a hexie punch and included it in the hexie pattern in the lower left.

This is for a VLB Challenge to use reds & oranges on a LO.
