A layout made for the November challenge at SATW. I was pleased that it received an honorable mention!

The layout is about my Grandfather. After many, many years of searching, endless hours of research, and lots of effort, we discovered the tragic and true story about this elusive man.

Lots of layering, molding paste, scraps of laces, inks, sprays, and mica flakes were used on the page. Because I like to include something personal on my heritage layouts, but did not have anything belonging to the man, I used 2 old lock surrounds that belonged to my Mom, who was his daughter.
