Every year I take my dd's photo in her Christmas dress in front of the tree right before we leave for Indiana on Christmas Eve. These are from last year - 2013 - when she was 16. She's holding our Yorkie, Abigail in some of the pics. I love these photos - sorry the pic of the LO is so blurry - it's been so gray here, I can't get enough light to take the pic.

This is my example for my December Four Categories Challenge - Category Two ~ Color: Red, Cream, & White. The twist is to use these colors on a Christmas LO.

This is for the December Sewing Challenge with the twist of Christmas. I hand stitched the flourish over the photos.

Also for the VLB Challenge to do a Christmas 'family' LO.

I used an old Beggahuna sketch for this. It was going to be my Music Challenge Title LO until I remembered the twist this month is blue & silver. LOL At any rate, the title was inspired by Taylor Swift's song 'Red.'

It's hard to tell from the photo, but the floss for the stitching and the punched cs behind the photos, as well as the music pp in the flowers, the alpha in the date, and the metal 'Memories' piece are all cream. The base cs is white as is the bottom vellum strip behind the photos. The red strip and red layers in the flower are all from glitter pp. I cut the title with my Cricut from a red flocked holly print pp. TFL
