The waterfowl area at the San Diego Zoo sometime in the mid-1980s.

Do you ever get up in the middle of the night and play with new techniques? Well, this is the result of one of those late-night sessions. I wanted to try printing one of the Silhouette backgrounds and also try a tip I saw here on sb.com that used dryer sheets to help thin dies release better. The printing was reasonably successful, but the die cuts were a slam dunk! I used two dies that have always given me the most trouble, and you can see the results. Perfect every time, with absolutely no bits and pieces to remove! I was so excited that I couldn't wait to use the results of my testing, so I finally managed to get them together on the same page and cover the rather ugly printed yellow lace at the top with my own prettier lace. I don't know if the result is "art" or not, lol!

Created for the Scrap an Animal challenge, it will also be entered in the Use Your Scraps challenge and the Compliment Corner.
